For this project we wanted to reveal one of the manufacturing process used by the silversmith and brass-worker in the shaping of the steel. This one consists in making, for each new created item, a mold in wood on which the metal is hammered.
It was a way for us to demonstrate his ability and expertise in those two types of material as well as showing the behind the scene by integrating the tool to the final object. Adjustment and precision were necessary to eventually create a deployment mechanism that forms either a single head hook in closed position or a triple head hook in opened position.
